Are you a "Forever Alone"? :'3

Ah, Forever Alone. One of the most hilarious things I've ever laid my eyes on. As defined, Forever Alone is an exploitable rage comic character that is used to express loneliness and disappointment with life. But what gets me the most is the reality of Forever Alone. Many of my friends are not only Forever Alones, they truly believe in their hearts, that they will never find someone for themselves.

Romantics? The yearning to be socially accepted? Whatever the case may be, it's quite real. It's funny on one hand, but I'm hoping to hear the serious side of "Forever Alone". Are any of you Forever Alone? Or feel like you're heading in that direction?

In my case, I am not Forever Alone. Take the holidays for example, I don't care how pissed off I am, I would prefer the company of my family, friends and my lover. Don't get me wrong anti-social ones, I can embrace solitude without going insane. So being alone isn't exactly torture to me, I need it at times to keep my mind at peace. However, there is a point where I'd prefer to interact with the society around me. Just depends on the time and place.

As for relationships, some of you only know three people who have been involved with me. One I still talk to, which is fine with me since she happens to be the most special. So there's never a time when I'm not with someone, but man did I enjoy single life for a brief time. Then like a coconut to the head, someone just came along in mid-2011 and captivated me. Now I can honestly say I'm happier than ever before. I'm happy where I'm at and even she would be the first one to tell you that Forever Alone is not healthy. We discussed that everyone wants to be loved at some point. It doesn't matter what kind of love that is, it's always a special feeling. To me, love is the closest thing to magic we humans have. If I knew someone who wanted it SO badly, then I would blame him or her at all.

I love going to parties and just generally hanging out with my friends.....
as much as I may deny being a social butterfly I actually have a huge group of friends all over the place so there's never a dull moment :I

More of a so called loner, yes, (yet at the same time a "social butterfly" like GhibliFreek said) but not forever alone. Although I tend to navigate away from people I'm fine with the ones I know. Also, for some reason, even if I'm like this people seems to come to me. It's a mystery as to why. That being I know many (because I am "entertaining" which I don't get still to this day and apparently "compassionate") due to the fact that I actually value and avoid doing anything considered ''wrong'' to them. Thus, they stay.

Cool! It's awesome knowing you two have friends to fall back on. Still...

Fall back on for support? I never said that, I'd rather not act as a nuisance to them. ^^;
Plus I've only trusted a sole person when there was a meltdown...only once have I trusted a person like that to tell them.

Ever thought about trusting someone from MM? The person would have to be most unusual. Energetic. Resourceful. And with an infinite amount of patience.

I have many friends actually, I talk pretty much and I really really love parties and dance . At first, I'm shy and I find it difficult to talk about topics I don't care about xD... but after 10 months of living in a foreign country I'm more outgoing

A few days ago, I answered the poll and did not explain nothing. Around the same time, I was finishing my relationship with my girlfriend. Before that she and I we cited much...
So I went for a walk alone, I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. With classmates, I get along, contrary to what you might think are guys, very quiet. Of course, going to bars, once even with a teacher went to a bar (very bad, btw). In short, I like people, but I love my forever alone!!

@ShezNek: I agree with you, it is very good a walk in this beautiful city!
