At long last! The Rose of Versailles aka Lady Oscar remastered DVD set (released by the wonderful folks at Nozomi Entertainment) is here!

The Godmother of yuri and one of the greatest anime series of all time. You have no idea how much I've waited for this day. The Rose of Versailles was a series I've often said should be released on DVD; worried that it would fade away into obscurity being an anime from the 1970s. Thankfully, Nozomi Entertainment recognizes true art and storytelling and now this wonderful series is available on the North American market.

I've been looking for a place to ~~show off~~ present collection stuff. Although in all honesty I've only not too long ago got brought into anime so i'm very envious of people posting here. However this doesn't mean that I got nothing to show for.

I think we need more Madoka Magica. Don't you agree?

Awesome collection, Avadan. I have all the Madoka DVDs with soundtrack special editions. The only thing you have that I don't is the movie. XD I think that's the first movie.

Very nice haul indeed. You have inspired me to do the same the next convention i go too.

It's the Movie 1+2 collector edition blu-ray version. The artbook gets my approval its very awesome, to me anyways. Don't have anything similar to compare it to. I also have the pre-order bonus wall scroll/ stamp/ film strip from animate.

If i ever manage to hang the wall scroll, ill post a pic... i need lots of string.

*laughs* No regrets! It's a nasty habit for me to chance my avatar when my members least expect it. I sure hope I've inspired you! Doujinshi dealers show up at most cons to sell some really good stuff for yuri. I think a nice ShizNat doujin (preferably Doropanda Tours) would look good in your collection.

Oh nice! Movie 1+2 on Blu-Ray must look beautiful. >_> Here I am patiently waiting for Aniplex to release the entire trilogy on Blu-Ray/DVD in the future. It's the main reason I'm holding out on your set. XD

I'm somewhat there, but as a hardcore collector of figures, DVDs and manga (sometimes plush), the journey can be limitless. XD

@luu Ah yes, don't get me started on box sets, i get tempted to buy them even if i have never seen the anime before. Especially if there good quality. Although i don't know if they would release such a box set, if good enough i would prob buy that too.

@Midori's Crazy I like the motivation to share, i agree i also won't be satisfied till i die. Worst part is that there is stuff i have missed out on that i will never be able to claim

Lmao, I remember Secret Recipe, that chapter with the flavored condom daydream xD. School Police is still an ongoing series, so I assume that Seven Seas will be releasing English volumes in accordance with the Japanese release, which is a HUGE first for a Yuri title here in the US as far as I know. I think that's their game plan, they keep putting out all her stuff. They'll probably put out everything but her hentai and doujin (Especially Mare, no way in hell could I see that getting an English release)

revolution to me was better subbed annoying dubbed voices in the series. but slayers was fun! i loved naga! XD and Lina. first season was my favorite too. :D
