I was about to say, I looked everywhere to try and watch it....I should quit now then.....can you buy the manga from like barns and noble?
And can I ask you a question about your (quote) wrote...thing?

The manga's only available in Amazon Japan, if I'm not wrong. Luu has a copy of them though they're in Japanese.
Yeah you can ask :3

Yup, as from Chapter 1-8 are the only ones that are translated by Ris, and I got an email from Ris saying that this group is actually trying to translate the later chapters, so yeah, I can't wait for this to be translated, I thought Baka-tsuki would do this too, but they only deal with popular big name light novels. Well, there is always hope for the best as you guys have done EXA before, and it does takes time to get everything translated, but hey, I re-read this sometimes ago

That's acceptable. I can wait, even for a whole year or a decade.

LOL, back again, anyways, @Luu, how's the progress of getting the ppl to translate the light novel so far? We have 2 years left for Sunrise to pull a 10th anniversary of Mai-franchise soon, it might be a green-lit project that uses HiME Destiny plot for HiME sequel(stick with being a TV series instead of OVA), a sequel to Otome S.ifr during the Otome war arc that ended for 50 years of peace before the Otome TV series timeline start(It's better to have a movie instead, which is more epic). LOL, I love having theory.

I'm still hoping for them to make Destiny into an anime, purely so I can fangirl over Shizuru some more XD They've got to do something for the 10 year anniversary...I will be very disappointed if they don't...but this is Sunrise lol

Chances are, Koi-chan, very slim (pertaining to Destiny turned animation). I'm not sure whoever did really released 'em but they already had a drama CD before.
But who knows? Probably SUNRISE will consider doing another Mai-series again.

Let me dream~ XD
They would be silly not to do anything else with the franchise really, they could still make a lot of money out of it...I just hope they don't decide to celebrate the 10 year mark by re-releasing everything. I want to see something new :3

Indeed. People need new material and something fresh out of the Mai-series. I kinda expected Destiny to be animated but with the years dragging behind, chances are getting slimmer.
Unless we do something about it, like make a petition. But it would take sometime (and effort) to make one though. >_____>

Re: Mai-HiME Destiny Forum
Vast amount of novels and manga.
Two 26 episode series.
Several OVAs.
Many drama CD audios.
Mai-Series fandom dominated from 2004 to 2010. To be honest, planetwarrior, I wouldn't be shocked if Sunrise thinks the Mai-Series deserves a break. If that were the case, why do we get Gundam related projects every couple of months? Nice try, Sunrise. Reach back into your bag of excuses.

Yeah, there's been a lot of Gundam, and that needs a break as well since Gundam Age was a totally a fail series, and Gundam Unicorn is an OVA series, so it gets more breaks, I think Sunrise is just planning and developing it secretly until the announcement starts around this year or next year because they think we have such a fan base, if you look at the update from Mai official site my-zhime.net, Sunrise revisited the Mai-_______ to attract new audiences to rekindle the interest.

I heard my-zhime.net gets a lot of hits. Sunrise knows there's still interest in the English speaking market if they search on google just once. Most of the Mai-Series articles, images and information comes from here. Sunrise should be inspired that we still love this little series. It's not a case of "moving onto something better". Sunrise created a legendary mythology with Mai-HiME/Otome and I couldn't of picked a better franchise to start a community for.

Bumping this dead topic.
Is there any chance that the forum would continue to translate the light novel? Just asking.

We're currently on other projects right now. Though our translator was given copies of Mai-HiME Destiny (thanks to me), it's a huge project for him. He is graduating in the Fall, promising to get started around there. That includes My-Otome If Volumes 1 and 2:
Which we also own. I can promise a release for both in 2016.

I thought of posting these here, because they are more relevant here than here.

That aside, I found this clipping related to Destiny. It features Saeko Chiba (Natsuki Kuga), Naomi Shindou (Shizuru Fujino), Minori Chihara (Mayo Kagura), Eri Kitamura (Shion Tennouji), Ryoka Yuzuki (Haruka Suzushiro), and Yuuka Nanri (Nao Yuuki).

- Track 01:
Mayo Kagura is running late, as far as I know from her hurried breaths. She bumps into Principal Rei Kanzaki.
Mayo: Wh-!
Mayo: Ow, ow, ow, ow...
Mayo: Whoa, Principal (Gakuenchou-sensei)! I'm so sorry! Are you alright?
Principal Kanzaki: I am alright.
Principal Kanzaki: Are you alright?
Mayo: Yes! This is nothing (?).
Principal Kanzaki: That is a relief. By the way, aren't those handcuffs you're wearing(?)?
Mayo: Oh... These? (I don't understand what follows)
Principal Kanzaki: (He says something that I don't understand too)
Mayo: Eh, really?!
Principal Kanzaki: Yes.
Mayo: Are you really sure (?)?
Principal Kanzaki: Of course.
Mayo: Thank you!
The bells tolls.
Mayo: Ah, the first bell (?)! Well then, I'm off!
Mayo runs away. Principal Kanzaki chuckles.
Principal Kanzaki: (He says something else, then says, "No... blah blah, Dragon Priestess.")
A door opens.
Shion: You're late, Mayo. What took you so long (?)?
Mayo: Well I... The handcuffs - (?)
Shion: Let's go to a cake buffet (?).
Mayo: Eh?! Cake?! But... (she says something else)
Shion: (she says something else)
Mayo: As expected of Shion-chan! Ah, I know! (she says something else)
Shion: Ah, but first things first(?).
Mayo: Eh? Is there something much important to the cakes and the handcuffs(?)?
Shion: Title Call!
OP plays.
Mayo: CD Drama
Shion and Mayo: Mai-HiME Destiny: Dragon Priestess Volume 3
Shion: The End of Ambition | Shining Path

Sweet translation. Of course, I could always update the corrections on our videos if you go back and get a more accurate reading. These will do for now. Our subscribers are just happy knowing they have *ANY* translations available.
Totally ship Shion and Mayo...didn't need Sifr's approval to do so.
The clipping is a nice bonus. Yuuka-san is just as beautiful as she was when I met her in person. <3 Updates to Track 1 of Volume 3 in the Drama CD will commence shortly.

Re: Mai-HiME Destiny Forum
I have listened to the entire Destiny audio tracks... What I would want to say is that it made me even more confused.
I guess it is a spinoff of the light novels?
The Suzaku Association went in the background. Take that sentence literally with Tomoe and Haruka, they were flung off by Mayo's TK.
Mayo and company didn't meet Arika in the city, doing Super Sentai entertainment. They met her in... Windbloom, perhaps? And was dragged in by Nao (I guess?) by pulling her panties down.
I have some translations of the tracks, but I haven't done the rest. I'll get back to it sometime.

It's sad that this was never made into an anime, I still remember believing we would get one as we had a HiME manga and anime and a Otome manga and anime so it made sense to have a Destiny light novel and anime or light novel and manga, alas it never came to pass...though I still adore what we did get for Destiny

That's what Deppy is starting to suspect, too. The light novels and audio dramas tell one complete story.

Mai-HiME Destiny would of made an excellent anime series. The MiKO are so damn cool. Originally I thought it would be released after Sifr, since that was Mayo's anime debut. As well as Shion's. I know, different Mayo and Shion, but still incarnations.
