I haven't been playing much since Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Hard Corps Uprising lately. Hard Corps Uprising is awesome! Everyone with an Xbox 360 should download it and play with meh!
Re: Video Gaming Discussion and Reviews Thread
Currently just finished completely finishing up Birth By Sleep-guh...the ENDING. Why does Aqua have to do all the hard work!? But it was a good game-the controls were interesting, and the new battle interface a bit easier to navigate, except in the final battles where it got a bit hard to watch your commands reload and cycle through them. But the mini games were fun, graphics great, voice acting decent, and almost the entire game was voiced-and it was very nice, a good pre-cursor to the actual KH series.
But for nao I'm replaying Crisis Core and FF7 for some nostalgia, and finishing up Innocent Life-Who ever knew that growing crops could be so addicting? Farmville had the right idea.

It doesn't D:
It's one of the most awesome games I've played. Although I will be the first to admit it has it's drawbacks.

I never played it with a mage. But I guess it's a lot harder right? Female or male character design?
Re: Video Gaming Discussion and Reviews Thread
Female, named Solona. I think that's the default name D:
It's kickass being a mage when you get the Arcane Warrior specialization. Bomb everything with magic and if something still gets close, hack at it with a sword ^^
I had more trouble with the warrior. The rogue I liked but being a mage is a lot easier from my experience. Except the fade level... I hate that level no matter the class. D:

Re: Video Gaming Discussion and Reviews Thread
My first character was a warrior but I messed up a lot of it and couldn't beat the bosses. I play Warrior on DA II although I regret the desicion when it comes to things like the Arishok and the High Dragon. It's like I do little to no damage whatsoever D:
As for romances, I can get most of the romances in Dragon Age II and I am close to a romance with Leliana (or however you spell her name) in Origins.
Does being the patron of the Pearl count as a relationship? lol
I haven't had one in awakenings. Can you even get romances in Awakenings?

Sailor Moon: La Luna Spende for Nintendo DS:
The news surrounding this game has been circling for a long time now with any real information on it. Now it's pretty clear how real it is, as I've snagged the following photos from Yahoo Japan. I'm planning to get the game myself. It's Sailor Moon dammit! ^o^ I'll post this in the Sailor Moon thread for our non-gamers, if we have any. ;p

Bullet Witch outfits gameplay
Lately I've been revisiting an old friend in Bullet Witch, an XBOX360 exclusive game about a gun happy witch with powers that could tear tall buildings down. (which you can actually do!). Before Bayonetta came around, this was my favorite female heroine game for any system. Sadly it was hated for it's controls and whatever else Halo/Grand Theft Auto players expected from it. I'm sorry, Bullet Witch was a VERY good game, albeit a short one. Still is after playing it again last night. X3 So many memories wearing the various costumes.

The Tomb Raider/Lara Croft Thread
Why do my obsessions suddenly become so intense on this forum anyway? Its weird! Anyhow: this thread is obviously for Tomb Raider, however it isn't exactly for the game-play itself for the series but for the parodies. Episodes for each parody series shall be uploaded one at a time during each update. So, lets begin with one of the most famous ones.
Lara's Voiceovers 1
Lara's Voiceovers 2
Lara's Voiceover 3
Lara's Voiceovers 4
Lara's Voiceovers 5
Lara's Voiceovers 6

(( I suppose I can save my long thoughts on the Tomb Raider series, including the movies, for my next post. I very much remember the laughs I got from the Voiceovers series. The quirky humor mixes very well together with Lara and her primitive PS1 graphics era, dunno why. XD ))
Re: Video Gaming Discussion and Reviews Thread
I've never completed a whole level let alone game of hers. But I own Tomb Raider 3. Good stuff! I love it it's so action packed! Man watch out for those tigers!

(( XDDD Those blocky tigers.
Anyone remembers the infamous nude code for Tomb Raider? Twas a myth of course, game wise, until the famous Nude Raider surfaced. Core Design should of been flattered by it's existence. ^_~ At that time, no other video game vixens was more requested/desired than Lara.
Time to violate Miss Croft like a parking meter. 8) ))
Re: Video Gaming Discussion and Reviews Thread
((Just a short question:
Has anyone ever played Two World II? I am considering to buy the game after finishing Dragon Age 2 but I would like to have some opinions first))

Re: Video Gaming Discussion and Reviews Thread
I have not played Two Worlds II, sorry :(
Just recently I revisited an old friend too, Final Fantasy 8. Its been about 8 years since the last time I replayed this game in full, and it was nice to go back. But I really never realised as a kid just how easy you can break this game. You can totally make your characters crazy strong on disc 1! But I had a lot of fun with that fact, knowing I could do these things nao. All in all it was a fun replay and made me remember why I love this series so much, its an ipmrotant part of my childhood!
And today I started to replay another old favorite, Genma Onimusha for the original Xbox. Its like Resident Evil with samurais, such a fun game. I wish they still made games like this...
I'm thinking about replaying my favorite game of all time soon, too, the first Shadow Hearts!

(( There should be downloads floating out there for it. ;3 nao, how about some movie trailers! Starring Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft!
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life
I thought the first movie was incredibly boring. ^^; Cradle of Life was a huge improvement with better action scenes and an overall better MacGuffin, Pandora's Box. I also felt it was the only good movie Gerard Butler was ever in.
Tomb Raider fiilms are nowhere near the levels of Raiders, Last Crusade and especially Temple of Doom, but Cradle of Life is definitely on par with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Shame on you George and Steve, an Indiana Jones film is supposed to be 5 star quality, not 3. >o> Maybe the upcoming Tomb Raider film (prequel?!) can make up for that. ))

What kind of games do you love?
Got a mix of RPG's, FPS, fighting, and of course the hack 'n slash for those rough days. XDDD
What are your favorite series?
Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, Fatal Frame, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Tekken (Pfft, waitin' for Tag Tournament II to be released~), and yes I like LittleBig Planet.
Got an absolute favorite game of ALL time?
Clive Barker's Jericho (don't shoot me)
What are you currently playing?
Resident Evil 5 (climbin' the Mercenaries leaderboards with me mum!)
