Re: Mai-HiME/Otome Merchandise you DO own?
NEW ARRIVAL!!!!
Listed as My-HiME Anime Manga Mikoto Minagi Japanese Sword Collectible Replica on Ebay. I recently purchased this awesome replica of Miroku! Now, this replica of Miroku has been around forever. Many of them have been floating since the show's Japanese debut. If not around there, then definitely after Bandai Entertainment acquired My-HiME. It started off pricey, but I am happy to report that Miroku was purchased at a healthy price of $14.99. A great steal for the most badass Element in the series, aside from Shizuru's Naginata. Below are some photos I took of my Miroku:
Technical aspects:
Overall Length: 39 Inches
Blade Length: 28.50 Inches
Blade Material: Blackened Stainless Steel
Blade Thickness: 2.50 mm
Handle Length: 10.50 Inches
Handle Material: Cotton Cord Wrapped
Guard Width: 5.50 Inches
Includes: Nylon Sheath with Adjustable Strap

The manga's actually belong to a friend, but I plan on eventually getting them for myself, along with the My-Otome manga's.
This is what I own of the anime's. I still don't have everything though.

Your have an impressive collection, Mikoto! I also have the entire Mai-HiME manga! The My-Otome manga was never released in North America, obviously, so I recommend getting all the volumes on Ebay like I did. Don't worry, they're reasonably priced (last I checked).
As for the anime, you're dangerously close! All you need is My-Otome 0 S.ifr
, which you can get here on RightStuf:
My-Otome 0 S.ifr DVD
Strongly recommend getting it before they all disappear. Once FUNimation finally releases their Mai-HiME/Otome Blu Rays, the Bandai Entertainment releases won't be available anywhere, except on Ebay.

That is really cool, Antiope! The GEMs look really cool! I'd never wear one (that would look awkward...), but I would like to collect them for display someday. Enjoy your new career as a Coral Otome. If you're lucky, Meister Viola will help you...ahem...climb the ranks. :'3

Re: Mai-HiME/Otome Merchandise you DO own?
Man, this thread really makes me want to dig my collection out of storage. I can't even remember which things I had (and apparently I never did get around to posting pictures of everything because I am beyond lazy).
I just hope that none of my figures got damaged during the various house moves.
Those GEM's are really cool looking, I remember wondering if they sold those, as it seems like an obvious choice for merchandise, but I guess I never got around to looking for them.
I wish that I could get Otome on DVD, but alas, twas never released in my region...though I do think I have a cheap knock off somewhere.

Koi's Mai-HiME/Otome collection is impressive AF!
On the subject of Blu-Rays, you won't have to wait too long, Koi. I hate sounding like a broken record, but FUNimation is dangerously close to releasing the series on the glorious format. Prepare your wallet to purchase our beloved franchise for the final time (on the best format on the planet~)

Tyty :)
When that happens I will most certainly be purchasing them! I don't have many blu-rays (only RWBY and a couple DBZ movies) so I will be happy to add those to my collection!

Oh WITHOUT QUESTION this will be added to my Otaku collection stuff! I've been wanting to get it, and was in the process of doing so last week, but then got torn between finalizing the purchase for it or purchasing what amounted to the same value between three really BARGAINED items. Which were all Magic Knight Rayearth related. But having gotten those, my next item will definitely be Mikoto's Miroku sword!! :3

YAY! I mean, I totally understand wanting to get Rayearth merchandise, too! The hardest merchandise to get from that series was the Sega Saturn RPG. The North American release with Hikaru on the disc label! I spent $300 on it!
Tell me, Mikoto! How much did you find Mikoto's sword for? Or are you still looking around for one?
Re: Mai-HiME/Otome Merchandise you DO own?
Haha, we both have Shizuru flanked by two of her wives! ( `ー´) These little gacha characters are adorable, right? And surprisingly cheap, too, given they were imported from Japan (with the help of a friend). Bro loves getting me merchandise like this (he also found me deals for two Pharah statues).Luu Sky Sapphire wrote:oAo I HAVE THE MAI-HIME/OTOME CHIBI FIGURINE COLLECTION, TOO!
You have no idea how much money I'd shell out for statues of the CHILDs... I was even thinking of seeing if I could find a 3D printing company around here to print custom ones for me. (≧ x ≦)Luu Sky Sapphire wrote:I still wish they had one of every character from both shows! Including ones of the CHILDs!
I also own a Natsuki figurine, but I've not taken it out of the box yet.
A close friend saw that little keychain of Miroku's hilt and decided to get it for me, too. Seems like most people view me as a starving kitten to throw Mai-HiME merchandise at whenever they pass by me while I look especially pathetic. (◉Θ◉)

OMG! THE 3D PRINTER DOES PRESENT MANY POSSIBILITIES FOR CUSTOM CHILDs STATUES! Seriously, I'm impressed by what people have constructed with the 3D printers. New legs for animals, beautiful model ships, figures and more. I can easily see beautiful statues made of Kagutsuchi, Duran, Gakutenou and the others being made. It won't be easy, obviously. Each CHILD has a ton of detail; including precise shapes and sizes. Creating Kagutsuchi from scratch will be a nightmare for the artist! BUT IT'LL BE SO WORTH IT!
(◉Θ◉) STOP THAT! IT IS NOT PATHETIC TO CRAVE MAI-HIME MERCHANDISE! My only complaint is that you don't own enough of it! The Mikoto hilt keychain is beautiful, I have it, too! The Perfect Collection DVD set is nice, too. WOW! YOU HAVE THE BEAUTIFUL NATSUKI KUGA STATUE BY GRIFFON!
^ I've always wanted one. ;A; Love your collection! Keep it up! Once I get my blue swimsuit Mai Tokiha in the mail, I'll upload new photos of my entire Mai-HiME/Otome collection for you guys! As most of you know, I've moved to a new home months ago. It's time to see my collection in their new habitat. :3

It's amazing! I'm almost scared to take it out in case it gets scuffed up. But these things are meant to be displayed, and it'd be unfair to deprive people the pleasure of looking at it.Luu Sky Sapphire wrote:WOW! YOU HAVE THE BEAUTIFUL NATSUKI KUGA STATUE BY GRIFFON!

OH WOW! You've got the Sega Saturn RPG Game... the one that is hundreds of $$ for MKR! You are so lucky to have gotten that. I want it too but I don't have the money right now to get it. :(:(
I did end up getting the Actual Two-Season in One DVD Box for MKR, which was valued at 305+ but when it arrived, both case holders were physically damaged. <_< ;;;;;;;
Plentywayz, I ended up emailing the company, and they sent new cases. But they were suppose to be hear this Tuesday that just passed, and it is now the Weekend. So I'm hoping for Monday to be the day they arrive. !~
The Miroku sword is definitely in my TOP PRIORITY LIST of items to buy. But I think with whatever personal money I have from my check this Monday coming up, I am going to first get Hikaru Shido's (45') Esudo Sword, which is valued at over 200.00 <- If I am able to get it. And then I will follow pursuit with Mikoto's Miroku Sword, which is valued, I believe on Amazon.ca at about 140-150 CA. But it might have jacked up since.
The other MKR item that I had just gotten is the New Hikaru Shido Figurine. It's BEAUTIFUL!! *_*
The final MKR item that I was trying to get was the Remastered version for Season 1, but sadly it got cancelled due to not being printed anymore by their company after I had made the purchase for it.

Completely off topic but Sega Saturn? Wow. That's older than most of the members of this esteemed & exclusive club of cognoscenti.
On topic: I should add that I own most of the soundtracks, albeit in mp3 & other digital formats.

Re: Mai-HiME/Otome Merchandise you DO own?
A few months ago at New York Comic Con 2017, I was so jumping with joy by the news of Mai-HiME/Otome coming to BLU-RAY, that I went ahead and had THIS done. The folks at POP cycled Baubles have made some incredible PixelBit art. Making characters like Wonder Woman, Sailor Moon, you know it. They can literally make anyone into one of these. So you know what had to be done, and what better way to start than with Mai-HIME's lead protagonist - Mai Tokiha.
She finally arrived last night. So worth the wait, I cannot express my satisfaction enough. Her Element, the added flames I wanted, her trademark scarf...everything is perfect attention to detail. I wonder if Shaun and Laura Rosado would be able to make one of Kagutsuchi. He would have to be the size of a dog for accuracy when standing next to this Mai. haha!
