You don't have to do them, per se. Aren't there any animated gifs from tumblr we could borrow? As long as they don't have logos on them (like the name of the tumblrite to uploaded it).

It's alright, I'll have Deppy deliver the goods soon. She is current making our 2015 banner, so I'll make finding RWBY gifs an extra assignment for her. Her obsession with the series (which is greater than yours and mine combined) will bring swell results.

Naaa you don't know me well Luu.... that last sentence is invalid!!!
All I do is watching RWBY, reading RWBY fanfiction, write comments about them, review them, write some too (which are horrible) and I even draw them... and that all day.
Don't say I'm not obsessed.

XD Wow! You're almost as obsessed as she is. And I believe you when you say your fanfiction is horrible. But knowing you put that much effort into the RWBY fandom says a lot.
I like RWBY, although I'm not crazy about it. There's something missing that makes it a potential classic. Besides, it's such a young series, so it's hard to judge it's lasting appeal. For now, I do love what I see, as long as the characters we care about get plenty to work with. AND DEVELOP THEM TOO FAST! The show would be "naked" without a bitchy Weiss.

Happy New Year to you, Nats. To stay on topic, here's to the expansion of the RWBY franchise in 2015. They really need to release a line up of figures, plush...anything!

^ Oddly enough, you were right! The Rooster Teeth store has quite the selection! The figures of Blake, Yang, Weiss and Ruby herself look amazing and well crafted. I wish I had room for this wallscroll:
Would fit nicely with my Sailor Moon and Mai-HiME wall scrolls; signifying that RWBY is the 2010s generation of female heroines. Oh well, I'll just stick to the figures for now. Starting with the obvious:

Isn't she just PERFECT!? You get everything from her cloaks (authentic material) to the Crescent Rose Scythe.
Re: RWBY Series by Monty Oum
I wish I could buy one too, but my parents are very strict... they don't like my hobby ....
I wish I had that wall scroll <3 it's soo, so perfect

This is so shocking...how is this even possible?
I didn't even know he was sick until now.
I can't believe he's gone. It was just too soon for him.
RIP Monty Oum. You were the hardest worker out there.
You'll be greatly missed. :'(

Re: RWBY Series by Monty Oum
Because of Monty Oum's passing, I dropped everything to devote 2 hours plus to watching RWBY season 2.
I must say that Monty should be proud of his work as season 2 improves on just about everything. Rooster Teeth managed to make a food fight look epic, haha. We not only get more cool action sequences (which surpass LoK, which is saying a lot), but we get more character study and relationships. That whole Jaune liking Weiss, who is oblivious to the fact that Pyrrha likes him, was very well done. The relationship aspect feel more realistic this time around (Jaune, dude, you're a man of your word by wearing that dress), and with Team RWBY sharing their reasons to fight at the campsite? Excellent writing. I now know WHY these girls fight beyond just the thrill. Of course, there's Yang's simple reason which branches off in a search for answers concerning her mother. I also enjoyed Penny's subplot, she is another T-800 and Miyu Greer to me.
Though a huge improvement over the fun season one, there are still some problems. The contemporary humor still falls flat at times. XD I think the series is at it's best when it's played completely straight and serious. The flirting and teasing between Team RWBY is always a hoot, though. Also, I don't care much for the villains. They're so stock and live another day because Saturday-morning-cartoon reasons. Case and point: Roman Torchwick. Cinder Fall on the other hand, is really sexy and has the makings of a great antagonist, I look forward to seeing what else she does.
AND ZWEI. WHO DOESN'T LOVE ZWEI?! His capabilities are a head scratcher, but I accept it! haha!
I think Monty should be proud of his work, RWBY is a team of super heroines for the new generation, symbolically following legends like Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon and Mai-HiME/Otome. There are those wondering if RWBY will continue without him. Come on, of course it will. Influential and talented people leave behind legacies.

Re: RWBY Series by Monty Oum
Sorry (not) for the double post, but snce Luu suggested I could upload my doodles for rwby here, I'll do that. And. We will continue our inspiration to flow free. Monty would want that too. So I do.
Yang
Rubes
WIP from Weiss, I'll finish that today when I come home.
that's my OC, Serika Rutherford. Yes, she is based of on me X'D

Re: RWBY Series by Monty Oum
Yang and Ruby look fantastic! >:3 Weiss looks the best of all, for some reason, despite being a WIP. Dunno, it just seems like a lot of care went into her. XD
And I figured Serika was you. Anything to get near Team RWBY, eh?
I'd love to see Pyrrha in your style...*biased*

Re: RWBY Series by Monty Oum
The reason is that Yang and Ruby are scanned traditional drawings of mine, converted into digital, and Weiss was the first with only didgital. I finished her by the way, and I did a drawing of a survival au with my OC Serika with background.
Re: RWBY Series by Monty Oum
I still need to watch season 2...
Quick question to all RWBY experts out there.
I've seen several fanart of an older Ruby with an eye-patch, is there any indication somewhere that this may happen?
Or is just head-canon of the artist?

No, this is an AU from my dear friend Funblade. This is called the future AU, which I'll be linking here too. More information is in there but beware, spoioioler out there.
