at 8 or 9 I didnt pay much attention to their touchy feely level just thought it was odd..years later I was rewatching and was like "ohhhhh" "sweeeeet". Ive been a Yuri/shoujo ai fan since that day :)

Amazing, huh? To realize you were a yuri fan without realizing it. *_* When I say Lady Oscar and Rosalie from Rose of Versailles (....before your time) mingle together, I knew they had something going on. I just kept silent since at a very young age, I thought gay love only existed in fiction. XD How wrong I was!

right? I didnt know if I should have pointed it out, it seemed like my friends (who also watched the show) didnt pick up to the subtext at all.

but I feel I should admit I sometimes enjoy shows that just have strong subtext over a shoujo ai...at this particular moment I cant come up with a good example

im currently on the second season of Strike Witches :D and omg do I love this show! actually thats my example I prefer Strike Witches over something like simoun. Ive actually been railing off yuri for a bit, I got hooked on Rosario + Vampire and Infinite Stratos. Im also on episode 5 of Yuru Yuri giggity

basically the show is all about womens breasts and qwasers, your not gonna see alot of breasts its been censored but the girls have way more than subtext it was worth watching for Ekaterina Kurae (katja, the copper qwaser)

Ah, Seikon no Qwaser... (is though not my first yuri)

I remember watching that a while back when it was recommended to me. I'm not very partial to it though... didn't like all the pointless boob shots. Other than that, it had an ok storyline and the characters weren't totally unlikeable. I actually thought Katja was one of the better ones. >.>;;

Wow, Dye, really? Seikon no Qwaser is a bad introduction into yuri. XD The story wasn't horrible I guess, it just wasn't anything special. It loosely reminded me of Fate/Stay Night, only an altered poor woman's version. It's just an ecchi anime. On the plus, gaining power with breast feeding is amusing to me. And those seemingly endless fondling are much appreciated. This is coming from the same guy who wasted his time willingly with Manyuu Hikenchou.

I commented on it, but it isn't my first yuri manga/anime. Though, I guess that was kinda misleading, huh?

That's a first! XD Kannazuki no Miko has a lot of flaws, I think it couldn't decide what kind of series it was supposed to be until the last minute. YURI! *_* Mai-HiME is easily better and I'm not saying that because I'm admin of a Mai-Series whorehouse or anything...

Well KnM has its flaws and I do agree with you about waiting till the last minute to decide if its a Yuri although we knew it was coming because if their was no Yuri I would have killed the createor...that other show shattered angels? was fucking awful AWFUL but I loved the fact that the girls were put into it

Ahh Katja, after watching Seikon no Qwaser I felt like I should be put in jail shes like 11 lol. she was the best qwaser in my opinion.
