The episode that truly hurt me the most as I saw Tate willingly make the ultimate Sacrifice so that the two women that mean everything in his life in their own respective ways wouldn't have to fight or hurt each other anymore. I know I've gone on and on about this moment many many times but its an ep that will always affect me in such a sad and powerful way

I don't think us guys get enough credit for sacrificing ourselves for the women we love. That particular scene is proof of how powerful/beautiful a hetero romance can be too.

Oh, man. This episode had psychological angst written all over it.
I couldn't help but feel sorry for Mikoto andMai.
Yuuichi, I salute to you!

Thanks Blu. It's still good to hear someone say something good about Yuuichi at any given point

I'd sacrifice myself for my girl is necessary. But there's something more important than sacrifice (what I consider a last resort to any situation). Finding a way to save everyone.

This episode is going to be fun to review about
- Spoiler:
- First off, I wasn't surprised that it was Shiho who killed Takumi. To be honest, I knew all along that it was Yatagarasu that destroyed Gennai. Not Mikoto. When that was revealed, I was all "KNEW IT! ". But once again, Shiho, I hate you because you're so manipulative and hypocritical, but I also understand you because you fell in love with Tate first.
- Spoiler:
- More importantly, this episode revealed to me a bit how similar Kuga and I are. First was when it was revealed that Shizuru is in love with Natsuki. Huh. I knew a girl who fell in love with me. Then it was revealed that ever since Natsuki was younger, she didn't trust anyone. I didn't trust anyone either when I was younger. I was surprised that Kuga and I have been in similar situations, but Mai-HiME yet had more surprises for me, which I'll talk about later on
And as I said in my review about episode 23, I thought I was strong enough to handle the whole love ordeal that was revealed between Shizuru and Natsuki, but nope. That guilt is unfortunately still there. After my friend and I finished this episode on Skype, I ended up sobbing, because the past 2 episodes had triggered the guilt I wish I could forget more than anything else. Tbh, I'll be surprised if I end up not affected when I'll watch the next last 2 episodes
